CFPT was launched in Houston, Texas and Cleveland, Ohio to answer the increasing demand
for fire protection and life safety engineering, staffing and training services.
Leadership Bios:
Susan Muha is a principal in CFPT and is the current Executive Vice President of the Workforce and Economic Development Division (WEDD) at Cuyahoga Community College that serves over 55,000 credit and non-credit students. Ms. Muha’s successful programs include advanced manufacturing, energy, transportation and logistics, health care, information technology, police, fire and private security academies, quality and Lean Six Sigma. Ms. Muha serves on the Cleveland Workforce Investment Board, The Fund for Our Economic Future, the Leadership Council for the Manufacturing Skill Standard Council (MSSC), and Global Cleveland.
Ms. Muha launched Benchstrength, Inc. in 2005 and has served in leadership roles at Richland College, Dallas Community College District, the U. S. Community Services Administration, State Director of Arkansas Parks and Tourism and Aldersgate Social Services Director. Ms. Muha earned her Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Georgia and her Master’s in Health Education from the University of Central Arkansas.
Janet Mann is a principal in CFPT. As a financial executive, Ms. Mann has over twenty years of diverse, progressive experience in business development and strategic planning, economic analysis, and financial and operational administration in both public and private multi-operational global business environments.
Prior to establishing CFPT, Ms. Mann launched FirstMetrix Corporation, served as Cuyahoga Community College’s Executive Vice President Finance and Business Services and College Treasurer. Ms. Mann spent fourteen years at Eaton Corporation where she held senior finance, corporate and operating positions for global manufacturing franchises. A Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Ms. Mann received her BA from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and her MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
